All I could do was stare. 

I had seen pictures of these 2 Lowriders online and in print, seeing them in person was completely different from that. 

Perfect tape lines, dimension, asymmetrical styling that was complementary. It was 1970 and futuristic.

Los Angeles river

A while back I was asked to participate in a photo shoot for a denim jeans co. 3rd & Army. Most of the shoot took place in the Los Angeles river, a local auto repair shop and surrounding streets.  I got to hang out with friends, met a couple new people and was given lunch, a tee shirt and a few bucks. But best of all, I got to drove my shoebox in the LA river along side some cool hot rods.
Now I wear Levi's 501 so I can't recommend the pants they gave me but check them out anyway, that is if your into the whole "hipster, lumberjack" look.
